The Fever Dream Players
The Fever Dream Players are NYC’s newest physical theater troupe. Inspired by the stylings of clowning, commedia, and puppetry, we train and perform our own original works around New York City. Our troupe is driven by three pillars:
To Teach: We aim to teach others our unique style of performance. Actors and non performers alike have gained valuable skills and insight into their own practice through participation in our workshops.
To Create: We write and perform all original content. By drawing from a variety of physical styles and disciplines, we have created a hybrid mix of performance, once described as “a handful of cartoon characters come to life.” Our players take their careers into their own hands.
To Connect: We produce a variety of events including our full length immersive cabarets, mixer events, and open mics. We set out to curate unique environments that foster connection and empower people to partake in community.
